ABOUT US

VISION

To see the gospel of Jesus Christ preached to the ends of the earth and witness the worship of God by every nation, tribe, language and people.

MISSION

To glorify God by preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ in order to establish healthy, biblical and indigenous-led churches in Northern Kenya.

OUR APPROACH TO MISSIONS

While we believe statistics and data research can be helpful tools for understanding the scope and reach of the gospel to certain people groups, we also believe they are fundamentally flawed if used as the primary gauge for measuring healthy churches or attempting to assess the number of true believers.

Therefore, we do not use such statistics and data in our strategy for missions. Rather, we focus our efforts on building genuine relationships and establishing healthy, biblical, indigenous-led churches.

When formulating our strategy for missions. its quite simple; faithfully preach the whole counsel of God. The ordinary means of grace: the Word, prayer and sacraments, are what God has always used to call His people to Himself. We believe that God uses the preached Word to convince and convert sinners in order to build them up in holiness and comfort through faith in salvation.

When Jesus commanded the apostles to go and make disciples of all nations, he also charged them to baptize and teach all that he had commanded them. Making disciples is much more than making mere converts.

“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the father and of the son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always to the end of the age.”

- Matthew 28:19-20

WHAT WE BELIEVE

  • We believe the Scriptures containing the 66 books of the Old and New Testament, having been fully inspired by God were not created by human invention, but written by human hands that were moved by the Holy Spirit. Being God’s own Word, Holy Scripture in its original languages is without error, complete in all things that are necessary to be known and believed about God and our salvation. Due to our fallen nature we are unable to know God’s truth fully, but, only by the inward illumination of the Spirit of God can we know God’s revealed truth that is necessary for the understanding of salvation. We believe the Word of God to be holy, inerrant, and infallible.

  • We believe the Westminster Standards, comprise of the Westminster Confession of Faith, the Westminster Larger Catechism, and the Westminster Shorter Catechism to be a faithful and accurate summary of the teaching of Scripture. We affirm the Westminster Standards as our doctrinal statement and standard.
