Our sole focus is to establish new churches and equip them for long term sustainability.

Nkishon is the Samburu word for life. We believe only the gospel of Jesus Christ can bring people life, both here and for eternity. We are a localized missions society in Kenya with specific emphasis on church planting. It is our heart to see the gospel preached to the ends of the earth and witness the worship of God by every nation, tribe, language, and people.

OUR STORY

What started as an idea for simple evangelism groups in 2018, God birthed into a thriving church planting movement within a few years. The first church plant began meeting under a tree every Lord’s Day in 2020. Now, the church has a permanent home to gather for worship for generations to come. It is through this church that our church planting initiatives are being launched.

WHAT WE DO

  • Church Planting

    The purpose of our church planting efforts is to evangelize and establish new bodies of believers in areas where there are no existing Biblical churches.

  • Church Equipping

    In order to equip our churches for long-term sustainability, focusing on deeper theological training of our church leaders and lay people is a top priority. With almost no resources in the Samburu language, it is our vision to translate discipleship material to equip and disciple the church for generations to come.

  • Christian Education

    Laying a solid foundation for the next generation of believers requires an education where God and His Word is at the center, forming a biblical worldview.
